Our valued customers made 2023's Tires to Inspire initiative a roaring success! During this program, Balise Motor Sales made a donation to some of our most treasured local causes every time a customer purchased a full set of tires. After the Tires to Inspire program concluded, we presented checks totaling $10,068 to Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts, Junior Achievement of Rhode Island, and YMCA Cape Cod. Junior Achievement (JA) of Western Massachusetts is a nonprofit organization that helps students of all grades grow into economically responsible adults. Junior Achievement of Rhode Island helps Ocean State youth from all backgrounds build the necessary skills for a successful future. This nonprofit organization's programs help students from the elementary grades through high school build a background for career success and financially responsibility. Balise Motor Sales recently opened a new, state-of-the-art facility for Balise Kia in West Springfield and celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, November 28. This location will handle sales of new and preowned vehicles as well as service by factory-trained technicians for most makes and models. There is also a parts department where Kia owners can purchase genuine OEM components. Jeb Balise, president of Balise Motor Sales, spoke at the ribbon cutting along with West Springfield mayor William Reichelt and Dan D’Angelo, executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of West Springfield.

On February 11th, 2022, United Way of Pioneer Valley celebrated the grand opening of their new Springfield Community Center. The move was sponsored in part by Balise Auto Group. Mayor Domenic J. Sarno led the event, which was held on “211 Day,” an annual day of celebration for the vital services offered by 2-1-1 call centers. Jason Newmark, chair of the board of directors for United Way of Pioneer Valley, also spoke at the event. “Balise is proud to support the United Way of Pioneer Valley’s new Service Center on Main Street. will serve as a hub for local volunteer services and make it easier for people in Springfield to access essential support services provided by the United Way.” – Ben Sullivan, Chief Operating Officer of Balise Auto Group The new Springfield Community Center will be a satellite base for United Way’s 211 call center, which has fielded over 3 million calls since it opened in 2006. The number provides 24/7 help to those dealing with domestic violence, mental health issues, child and elder care challenges, financial insecurity, and more. The Community Center will also contain a food pantry, a Dress for Success boutique offering free business attire for women in need, and programs for financial coaching and job searches.

Balise Toyota of Warwick recently presented Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island (BBBSRI) with a donation of $10,000. The Toyota Dealer Match Program met that amount for a total donation of $20,000. BBBSRI connects Rhode Island children ages 7 to 15 from challenging backgrounds with adult mentors for one-on-one support as well as wider social work programs and related services. These connections help young people build self-confidence, make good decisions, strengthen their social skills, and improve their academic performance. On the national level, Big Brothers was established in 1904 to provide mentors for New York City boys in need. In 1977, it merged with Catholic Big Sisters to form Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Various representatives from both BBBSRI and Balise Toyota of Warwick were on hand for the presentation, as general manager Mike O’Connell presented the check to the CEO of BBBSRI, Katje Afonseca.

In December of 2021 in partnership with Lexus, Balise Auto presented a $40,000 check to the Boys and Girls Club of West Springfield to support the work and mission of the local organization. With this donation, the Club will purchase and install a new Ninja Warrior course as well as a gaming space equipped with touch-screen game tables for enhanced learning opportunities. To celebrate the donation, a photo opportunity and craft workshop were held in the Club’s gymnasium. Team members from Balise Lexus also served hot cocoa and cookies to the children. In attendance were Jeb Balise and family, team members from Lexus, and members of the Club’s Board of Trustees. Also present were West Springfield Mayor Will Reichelt, State Representative Mike Finn, and State Senator John Velis. The Club posted on social media about the donation, saying “ overwhelmed with excitement and we cannot wait to offer our members new and innovative activities!” The Boys and Girls Club’s mission for over 100 years has been to support the growth and development of young people, especially those most in need, and enable them to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. Our team at Balise Subaru in West Warwick, RI was incredibly excited to welcome representatives from Hasbro Children's Hospital to the showroom today to celebrate another successful Subaru "Share the Love" event. For a fourth consecutive year, the dealership selected the local hospital as the hometown charity and local beneficiary of funds. During the national campaign, Subaru of America donates $250 for every Subaru vehicle financed or leased to the organization of the customer's choice–Hasbro Children's Hospital being their local option. Other national charities include ASPCA, Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheels, and the National Park Foundation. During this year's campaign, Balise Subaru raised $28,683. Springfield, Massachusetts will come alive this weekend when it hosts the 2019 Lexus AHL All-Star Classic on Sunday, January 27th and Monday, January 28th! The two-day event presented by MGM Springfield (and sponsored by Lexus / Balise Lexus) will bring thousands of guests to our city for an event like we've never seen before. The showcase will take place at the MassMutual Center, home of our Springfield Thunderbirds, Not only will the city be welcoming guests and players from around the world, the 2019 AHL All-Star Skills Competition on Sunday (7 p.m. ET) and the 2019 AHL All-Star Challenge on Monday (7 p.m. ET) will be televised to national audiences on NHL Network in the United States and Sportsnet ONE and Sportsnet NOW across Canada. The 2019 AHL All-Star Skills Competition on Sunday will feature All-Stars from the two Eastern Conference divisions against those from the two Western Conference divisions in seven skills events. The accuracy shooting, one of the most popular of the Skills Competition events, is sponsored by Lexus and Balise Lexus. In the 2019 AHL All-Star Challenge on Monday, the four teams will participate in a 3-on-3, round-robin tournament featuring six games of 10 minutes each. The two teams with the best records at the end of the round-robin will face off for the championship, a six-minute, 3-on-3 game. Today, Jeb Balise, owner and CEO of Balise Motor Sales, was named local honoree at the 9th Annual “Service Above Self” luncheon sponsored by the Rotary Club of Springfield at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA. He was joined by John Calipari, who was named the national honoree. Since establishment in 2010, the annual luncheon celebrates several philanthropic individuals located within the Western Massachusetts community, as well as members of basketball universe who have embodied the clubs have truly lived out the motto of Rotary International, "Service Above Self." "We're very pleased to be recognizing Jeb Balise and John Calipari for their outstanding philanthropic work and service to others," said John L. Doleva, President and CEO of the Basketball Hall of Fame, in a press release proceeding the event.
